Nellie graduated from Fennimore High School where she was the Homecoming Queen and escorted by the King, Duane Furrer. She was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart Duane, on October 18, 1958 at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Fennimore. Nellie was employed at the First State Bank in Fennimore. She always had a wonderful smile to welcome everyone she served. She was a dedicated employee for over 30 years until her retirement in 1995. Marna L. Fuchs, age 78, of Fennimore passed away on Monday evening June 1, 2020 at the Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing in Fennimore. She was born on September 8, 1941 in Milwaukee the daughter of Edward and Margaret (Cork) Breitenbach. Marna grew up in the Milwaukee area where she raised her family. She loved being able to be home with her boys and taking care of them through their younger years. In 2001, Marna wanted to be closer to family, moved to Southwest Wisconsin. Ronald D. Frye, age 80, of Mt. Hope, passed away on Wednesday morning May 20, 2020 at the Divine Rehabilitation & Nursing after many years of declining health. He was born on September 9, 1939 in Richland Center the son of Earl and Maxine (Larson) Frye. Ron was a dedicated employee for Equifax for numerous years. Scott Donald Ransom, age 58, of Fennimore passed away on Friday morning May 15, 2020 at the St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. He was born on March 28, 1962 in Lancaster the son of Donald and Nelda (Feakes) Ransom. Scott attended Fennimore High School in the class of 1980. He was a very hard worker and became a licensed cheese maker for many years. He was employed at the Preston Cheese Factory and the Fennimore Cheese Factory. Dean L. Munson, age 85, of Livingston passed away peacefully early Monday morning May 4, 2020 on the way to dialysis in Platteville with his son Doug by his side. He was born on October 8, 1934 the youngest child of Clarence and Verna (Gundlach) Munson. He graduated from Livingston High School President of his class in 1952.
