She was born on March 28, 1951 in Bismarck, ND the daughter of Gideon and Hilda (Martel) Aipperspach. Nora was united in marriage to Curtis Schauer on September 1, 1974. Nora graduated from Wishek High School in 1969. She attended college in Bismarck and received her Medical Assistant degree.
