Sally graduated from Fennimore High School. After her marriage to John, they continued the family tradition of farming in Beetown Township. Sally was a very hard worker and always helped with the daily chores. Because of their hard work, Sally and John’s farm received the honor of “Century Farm”. In 1987, she began doing census work for Grant County. She also loved volunteering to take area residence to their doctors’ appointments. She enjoyed going fishing, gardening and sewing. She created many beautiful pieces of woodwork for her children and grandchildren. For several years, she and John wintered in Florida and were able to travel to Alaska and Hawaii. Sally adored her family and loved being able to be home, on the farm, raising her children and helping out with the grandchildren. Sally was able to accomplish so many things through her years.
