Thelma S. Cook, age 94 of Fennimore, died on Wednesday evening Dec. 11, 2013 at Boscobel Care and Rehabilitation in Boscobel. Thelma was born on Sept. 5, 1919 in Shullsburg, WI the daughter of Chester and Elizabeth (Laird) Trebilcock. She married Harold Lamont Cook on Sept. 7, 1939 in Valparaiso, Indiana. Thelma loved life on the farm. She and Lamont farmed in rural Shullsburg until moving to Fennimore in 1953. They continued farming in Wingville Township Grant Co. until 1978. Doris was born on Feb. 13, 1933 in Prairie du Chien the daughter of Samuel and Ada (Fry) Crawford. She was united in marriage to Edward Vavricka on Sept. 30, 1950 in Prairie du Chien.
