Fennimore, WI-Cassidy Ann Fecht, age 18 passed away unexpectedly on Sunday Oct. 20, 2013 in Clifton Township Grant Co., WI. Cassidy was born on April 19, 1995 in Boscobel the daughter of Michael Fecht & Linda Lee.
Cassidy was a brilliant student who graduated from Fennimore High School in 2013 with High Honors. In school, she enjoyed playing volleyball and competing in Forensics. She was currently working at Friedrick’s Restaurant in Fennimore while being enrolled at the Southwest Technical College. She was furthering her education until deciding which U.W. School to attend. Cassidy loved the things most 18 year olds enjoy; texting, face booking, driving, hanging out with friends, shopping, traveling with Aunt Sharon, and spending time with her dog. She was a very independent young lady with many goals and an enthusiastic personality that would brighten everyone’s day. May Cassidy’s beautiful smile and delightful charm live in the hearts of all who knew her.
Cassidy is survived by her father Mike Fecht of Stitzer and her mother Linda Lee (special friend Brian Witzig) of Boscobel, five siblings; Audrey of Highland, Charissa and Chelsey (Kevin) both of Fennimore, Cura and Cain both of Boscobel. She is also survived by her grandparents; Donald (Shirley) Fecht and Harold (Donna) Morris both of Boscobel, five aunts & uncles; Sheila (Burdell) Cathman, Sue Birchman (special friend Darwin Dixon), Sharon (Eric) Croft all of Fennimore, Ramona (Ethan) Kord of Boscobel, Robert Lee of Stitzer, and she was a special aunt to Shawn, Xander, Damion, and Harper along with several special cousins.
Cassidy was preceded in death by her grandparents; Raymond & Nettie Lee and a cousin Matthew Bender.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday afternoon Oct. 26, 2013 at the Fennimore United Methodist Church with burial of the cremated remains to be at a later date. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in loving memory of Cassidy Ann Fecht. The Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore is assisting the family
