Orville G. “Jerry” Hill, age 77, of Boscobel passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning September 28, 2019 at the Gunderson Boscobel Area Hospital. He was born on June 2, 1942 in Boscobel the son of Orville J. “Bunker” and Geneva B. (Schneidewind) Hill. Jerry was united in marriage to Donna Kincannon on June 15, 1968 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. Jerry graduated in the class of 1960 from Boscobel High School. Patrick Shirley, age 91, of Fennimore, WI passed away on Thursday September 26th, 2019 at Divine Care Rehabilitation in Fennimore with his wife of 66 years, Caroline by his side.   Patrick was born on May 18, 1928, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  He graduated from Franklin High School in Cedar Rapids, IA  After high school he enlisted in the Army and served as a paratrooper. She was born on January 19, 1954 in Platteville the daughter of John B. and Helen (Loy) Thompson. Nanette grew up in Colorado until moving to Oklahoma. She graduated from Altus High School in Altus, OK and then received her bachelor’s degree from Southwest Oklahoma State University. Marion Norbert Leix, age 87, of Montfort passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Upland Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation in Dodgeville. He was born on June 18, 1932 in Eden Township, Iowa County, the son of Clifton Herman and Margaret (Preston) Leix. When Marion was less than one year old they moved to the present Leix farm where he lived until moving to Montfort in 1986.
