Brandon Lee “Fuersty” Fuerstenberg, age 21, of Platteville, formerly of Fennimore, died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 1, 2019 in Castle Rock Township as a result of an automobile accident. Brandon was born on February 4, 1998 in Lancaster, WI the son of Terry and Lisa (Lee) Fuerstenberg.
Brandon attended Fennimore High School and was in the class of 2016. He played football and was an avid member of Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He had the pleasure of having his dad, Terry as a leader and an assistant leader. Brandon worked for Cummins Emission Solutions in Mineral Point, WI and was most recently employed at Rural Route One Popcorn in Montfort, WI where he enjoyed going to work everyday. Brandon loved the outdoor life and enjoyed morel hunting with his cousin Damien. Brandon was passionate about hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, snowmobiles and cars. Brandon had a special love for his pets; “Lana” and “Chunkers” his beloved cats, and his late dog, “Rocky”. Brandon treasured life and many of his happiest times were attending music concerts, festivals, raves, going ice fishing, playing video games and spending time with family and friends. Brandon had a special personality that everyone enjoyed and he made friends wherever he went. His memory will be cherished by many forever.
Brandon is survived by his beloved Father: Terry and his Mother and Step Father: Lisa and Shawn Lange, brothers and sisters: Tory (Caitlin Menning) Fuerstenberg, Makenzie Lange, Kyle (Erica Bailey) Lange; Shawna (Tyler) Kitsembel, his grandparents Francis (Maxine) Fuerstenberg, and Bob (Charlotte) Lange, aunts and uncles; Tammy Fiedler (fiancé Jerry Waterman), Julie Fuerstenberg (fiancé Justin DeBoer) Edward (Amy) Fuerstenberg, Scott Lee, Chuck (Deb) Lange, Curt Lange (Angie Hoffman), special nephews Karson and Kaden Kitsembel, several special cousins, his girlfriend, Brooklyn Elliott, and a special best friend, Brandon Chase.
Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Larry "Ozzie" and Charleen Lee, a cousin Damien Lord, and an uncle Mike Fiedler.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday afternoon, September 6, 2019 at the Fennimore United Methodist Church in Fennimore with burial to follow in the Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 A.M. until time of service at the church on Friday. In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials would be greatly appreciated.
