Rosemary K. Mulrooney, age 88 of Madison and formerly of Mount Hope, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning Jan. 14, 2015 at her Chamomile Assisted Living home in Madison. She was born in Mount Hope Township on July 31, 1926, the daughter of Leo and Elizabeth (Bessie) Mulrooney. Rosemary attended Edgewood College in the nursing program but later changed her career goal to the business world.  She retired from UW-Madison Physical Sciences Lab/Graduate School after 30+ years of service. Pat was born on Aug. 5, 1957 in Dodgeville, WI the son of Patrick Sr. and Mary (Zwolanek) Shemak.  He married Connie Kreul on Sept. 29, 1979 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Highland, WI. Rewey, WI – Lawrence J. Schurz, age 89, died on Saturday afternoon Dec. 27, 2014 at his residence in Rewey. Lawrence was born on Jan. 9, 1925 in Prairie du Chien, WI the son of Roy and Nettie (Weighner) Schurz. He was united in marriage to Claris Meyer on Sept. 25, 1946. Lawrence was enlisted in the U.S. Marines from March 10, 1943 until being honorably discharged on Jan. 20, 1946. Kevin Lee Glasbrenner, age 59 of Fennimore passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, December 22, 2014.  Kevin was born December 17, 1955 at Scott Air Force Base, Mascouta, IL, the son of James and Donna (Feakes) Glasbrenner. Dec. 20, 2014 at ManorCare in Platteville.  Bernice was born on Feb. 4,1922 in Livingston, WI, the daughter of Emil and Rose (Whitish) Nechkash.  She married Norman Bagley on Nov. 25, 1947 in Milwaukee, WI. Berniece grew up on a farm and continued farming for much of her life. After selling the farm and moving to Montfort, Berniece went to work at Nelson Ice Cream until her retirement. Middleton Memorial VA Hospital in Madison.  William was born on Feb. 10, 1927 in Switzerland County, Indiana the son of Harold and Aldean (Mier) Barnes. He married Charlotte Whitish (Kabele) on March 29, 1980. Bill enlisted in the U.S. Army serving from May 14, 1945 until being honorably discharged on Dec. 6, 1946.
