MOUNT HOPE – James “Jim” John Schmitz, 86, of Mount Hope passed away April 15, 2026, on the family farm where he was born.   He was born on January 10, 1940, to Maynard and Loretta (Timmerman) Schmitz.  Jim graduated from Mt.
