Louis “Lou” Raymond Jastrzembski

FENNIMORE, WI / HEBRON, IL - Louis "Lou" Raymond Jastrzembski, age 82, has left his Earthly Home and Body for that of an Angel in Heaven, with his Lord on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

He was born on August 19, 1943, in South Bend, Indiana, the son of Stanley and Alice Jastrzembski. Louis was united in marriage to Mildred "Millie" Salemi on August 27, 1966, at the Divine Savior Church, in Norridge, IL.  They celebrated their 58th Wedding Anniversary in 2024.

Louis took pride that he went to DeVry, in Chicago, and graduated in Electronics.  He worked to become a Manager in the Electronics field.  Early in his career, he was also a Corporate Softball Coach that won the 1st Place Trophy, as a team.

Louis loved any and all things "fishing."  Whether out on a boat, off a pier, or on a bank; he was in his glory when he was able to cast his line into the water.  Catching a number of fish was the highlight of any day! Louis also loved gardening, growing 10' tall Sunflowers, planting over 100 pine trees, along with many fruit trees and garden vegetables. He had quite the "green thumb!"

Louis was an expert handyman.  He fixed cars, repaired most everything around the house, rewired anything needing to be worked, and enjoyed projects such as building shelves, woodburning, painting projects, constructing sleighs, building models, among many other things.

Louis stepped into the role of a Home School Professor for his grandson, who has Autism, teaching him Science, Singing Gospel, and working Fine Motor Skills with Legos - their masterpiece being the "Old Fashioned Bait Shop" which they both took great pride in assembling. Louis' family meant everything to him and helping to take care of them was his number one goal.  He loved each and every one with his whole heart.

Louis is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, and his parents.  Louis is survived by his daughter Tina (Terry) Dittman of Fennimore; his son Louis (Lisa) Jastrzembski of Westmoreland, TN; three grandchildren: Aleks, Beth, and Amanda; four great grandchildren; his brother Bernie (Sheila) Jastrzembski of Grainger, IN; many nieces and nephews; and his grand-pup Mylo.
