Arlene Martin

FENNIMORE, WI - Arlene Martin, age 64, passed away on Friday morning March 13, 2026, at her residence in rural Fennimore. She was born on May 30, 1961, in Lebanon, PA, the daughter of Aaron and Katie Oberholtzer. Arlene was united in marriage to Albert Martin on March 14, 1981. They made their home in Pennsylvania until 1998 when they moved to a farm in Fennimore, WI.

Arlene is survived by her husband Albert Martin of Fennimore; 11 children: Christine (Sanford Lem) Martin of Rutledge, MO, Quentin (Betty) Martin of Riverton, WY, Jay Lloyd (Krista) Martin of Power, MT, Arlene Rose (Bryan) Martin of Milton, IA, Louise (Lavon) Oberholtzer of Memphis, MO, Burnell (Amanda) Martin of Fennimore, WI, Randall (Judith) Martin of Pulaski, IA, Rhonda (Randall) Oberholtzer of Mt. Hope, WI, Joanne (Elvin Ray) Martin of Milton, IA, Rhoda (Galen) Hoover of Downing, MO, Janita Martin at home, daughter-in-law Ruth Ann (Keith) Nolt of Boscobel, WI;  and 50 grandchildren.

Arlene is further survived by her mother, Katie (Oberholtzer) Newswanger of Newmanstown, PA; siblings: Eleanor (Ezra) Martin of Myerstown, PA, Melvin (Twila) Oberholtzer of Womelsdorf, PA, Esther (Eugene) Gingerich of Myerstown, PA, Roy (Joan) Oberholtzer of Myerstown, PA, Susan (Nelson) Sensenig of Myerstown, PA, Jerry (Janet) Oberholtzer of Nokomis, FL, Dorothy (Alvin) Sensenig of Richland Center, WI, Ruth (Merle Dean) Wise of Robesonia, PA, and Lois (Aaron Ray) Nolt of Blain, PA; as well as many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Arlene was preceded in death by her son Jonathan Martin; father, Aaron Oberholtzer; father-in-law, H. Moses Martin; mother-in-law, Anna Martin; and stepfather, Phares Newswanger.
