LaVon was born on June 6, 1923 in Grant County, WI the daughter of George and Gladys (Hickin) Foreyt. She married Cletus Hahn on Oct. 7, 1944 in Milwaukee. She was united in marriage to Harry Edge on September 21, 1947. Avis and Harry enjoyed playing cards and dancing with their friends. Carrie was born in Round Lake, IL, the youngest daughter of August “Jack” Corcilius and Nancy (Oehme) Corcilius and spent many years in Arizona where she worked as a nursing assistant and gave birth to her daughters before returning to the Midwest to be nearer to family.
