Timothy Roger Trankle, age 56, of Potosi formerly of Montfort passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by his beloved family, on Sunday afternoon Oct. 29, 2017 at U.W. Hospital in Madison. He was born on May 26, 1961 in Platteville the son of Roger and Jill (Johnston) Trankle. Graduating from Iowa-Grant High School in 1979, Tim was employed at Harvestore Silo Company of Dodgeville as a welder until getting involved with the family farm. Clyde Otis Wagner passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Bloomfield Healthcare in rural Dodgeville. Clyde was born on May 6, 1921 to Lloyd and Nellie Bishop Wagner on the Wagner farm in Wingville Township, Livingston. Clyde’s mother died when he was 10 years old so he lived with his sister and her husband on the Wagner farm where he helped milk cows by hand, herded cows to grazing on horse, led the horse to the hay during threshing and harvested wood for the house. Montfort – Fern Marion Kreul, age 83, passed away on Sunday morning, Oct. 22, 2017, at Bloomfield Manor in rural Dodgeville. Fern was born May 18, 1934 in Dodgeville the daughter of Jacob and Violet (Williams) Frederickson. On November 22, 1952, Fern married the love of her life, John Kreul at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Highland. Fern worked at Peggy’s Place Day Care in Montfort, and later did babysitting in her home. Marilyn M. Gibson, age 91, was reunited with the love of her life, George H. Gibson on Sunday, October 8, 2017. Marilyn was born on April 22, 1926 to J. Frank and Marita Wilkinson in Hampshire, Illinois. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a degree in business education, she started her career in teaching at Montfort High School. While raising her family she continued her teaching at Southwest Technical College until her retirement in 1991. She was married to George H. She was born on April 10, 1935 in Walworth County, WI the daughter of Hiram and Lodema “Deem” (Matthews) Baker. Evelyn R. Calvert, age 85, died on Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, at her residence in Fennimore. Evelyn was born on Feb. 28, 1932 in Woodman, WI the daughter of James and Clara (Weir) Elliott. She married Robert Calvert on Oct. 24, 1953 in Boscobel. Evelyn graduated from Boscobel High School with the class of 1950. Robert “Bob” G. Mueller, age 89, died on Thursday morning Sept. 28, 2017, at his residence in rural Livingston surrounded by his family.
