Roger L. Straka of Bagley passed away peacefully at his home on June 30, 2020, surrounded by loved ones. Roger was born on April 27th, 1954 in Dodgeville, WI to Clarence and Evelyn (Graham) Straka. He was united in marriage to Eileen (Fiedler) February 14, 1981 at St. Clement Catholic Church in Lancaster. Roger attended school in Fennimore until the family moved to the Montfort farm in 1965 where he continued school and graduated from Iowa-Grant in 1972. Leslie M. “Chick” Klais, age 95, of Stitzer, WI died on Friday afternoon June 26, 2020 at the Boscobel Care & Rehabilitation in Boscobel. He was born on February 1, 1925 the son of Leslie and Mary (Novinskie) Klais. Chick enlisted in the U.S. Marines and served from 1945 until being honorably discharged in 1946 and serving during WWII. Chester C. ¨Chet¨ Nowak, age 89, of Madison, formerly of Fennimore, passed away on Tuesday June 9th, 2020 at Agrace Hospice Care in Fitchburg. Chet was born on January 10, 1931 to Frank and Anna (Torksdorf) Nowak on the family farm in rural Shawano County.  Chet was the youngest of eight children.
