She was born on Dec. 25, 1919 in Montfort the daughter of William Sr. and Sarah (Galin) Kennedy. Myra was united in marriage to Carlos W. Hill on Aug. 29, 1940 in Waukon, IA. Myra did seasonal work for the Cobb Canning factory and worked for the Clerk of Courts in Lancaster for a brief time. Her love in life was her devotion to her husband, helping on the farm, and being dedicated to raising her family. […]

Joan Teresa Fiedler, age 86, of Lancaster and formerly of Stitzer, died on Wednesday Dec. 14, 2016 at the Orchard Manor in rural Lancaster. She was born on May 19, 1930 in Boscobel the daughter of Carl & Teresa (Schuhart) Kretschman. Joan was united in marriage to the love of her life, Bernard Fiedler on Sept. 19, 1950 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fennimore and said, “It was the happiest day of her life”. Russel was born on Nov. 25, 1937 in Homer Township Grant Co., WI the son of Lawrence and Leona (Stimpson) Nelson. Russel graduated from Cobb High School and then attended the U.W. Platteville. Marietta C. (Wunderlin) Tarrell, age 96, of Fennimore, died on Monday evening Dec. 5, 2016 at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. Marietta was born on May 23, 1920 in Harrison Township, Grant County, WI the daughter of Frank and Maud (Horner) Wunderlin. She married Melvin C. “Pete” Tarrell on Aug. 19, 1941 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Montfort. Doug Inghram, age 76, of Fennimore, died on Sunday Nov. 27, 2016 at his residence in Marion Township, rural Fennimore. Doug was born Douglas Wayne Offerle on Sept. 28, 1940 at Fort Riley, Kansas, where his father, Matthew Offerle, was stationed. His mother, Naomi, was married to his father for only a short time and then married Kenneth Inghram. Since Doug was only 2 years old, he went by the name Douglas Wayne Inghram after his step father.
