She was born on May 19, 1930 in Boscobel the daughter of Carl & Teresa (Schuhart) Kretschman. Doug was born Douglas Wayne Offerle on Sept. 28, 1940 at Fort Riley, Kansas, where his father, Matthew Offerle, was stationed. His mother, Naomi, was married to his father for only a short time and then married Kenneth Inghram. Since Doug was only 2 years old, he went by the name Douglas Wayne Inghram after his step father.
