Montfort – Fern Marion Kreul, age 83, passed away on Sunday morning, Oct. 22, 2017, at Bloomfield Manor in rural Dodgeville. Fern was born May 18, 1934 in Dodgeville the daughter of Jacob and Violet (Williams) Frederickson. On November 22, 1952, Fern married the love of her life, John Kreul at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Highland. Fern worked at Peggy’s Place Day Care in Montfort, and later did babysitting in her home. Marilyn M. Gibson, age 91, was reunited with the love of her life, George H. Gibson on Sunday, October 8, 2017. Marilyn was born on April 22, 1926 to J. Frank and Marita Wilkinson in Hampshire, Illinois. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a degree in business education, she started her career in teaching at Montfort High School. While raising her family she continued her teaching at Southwest Technical College until her retirement in 1991. She was married to George H. She was born on April 10, 1935 in Walworth County, WI the daughter of Hiram and Lodema “Deem” (Matthews) Baker. Donna’s early years were spent on a farm in rural Burlington, WI, then moving into town where she attended Burlington Elementary and High School graduating in 1953. She married Robert Calvert on Oct. 24, 1953 in Boscobel. Evelyn graduated from Boscobel High School with the class of 1950. He was born on June 16, 1928, in Platteville the son of John and Lillie (Schuster) Mueller. He was united in marriage to Mary Knutson on Feb. 10, 1951, at the Livingston United Methodist Church.
