She attended Castle Rock Grade School and Montfort High School, graduating in 1947. Following graduation, she was employed by a local business in Fennimore. Cobb formerly of Highland, WI-Virgil M. Tomas, age 84, passed away on Sunday morning December 7, 2025, at his residence in Cobb. He was born on November 22, 1941, in Dodgeville the son of George and Catherine (Berg) Tomas. Virgil married Karen Day on December 8, 1962, and welcomed two daughters.
