FENNIMORE – Suzanne “Sue” M. Watters, age 71, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday November 28, 2024, at Grant Regional Hospital in Lancaster. She was born in Panama City, FL on September 10, 1953; the daughter of Robert and Gale (Matthews) Sisley. Sue married Daniel Watters on July 20, 1979, in South Carolina. They recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary. FENNIMORE – Carl A. Cathman, age 62, passed away unexpectedly on Friday November 29, 2024, at his residence in rural Fennimore. He was born on December 22, 1961, in Milwaukee; the son of Burdette and Betty (Moore) Cathman. Carl enjoyed working on cars and dirt bikes. He loved to take them apart and put them back together, although the pieces didn’t always end up back in the same place they started. Carl lived his whole life on the family farm.   MONTFORT – Marilyn M. Winkers, age 92, passed away on Tuesday evening November 26, 2024, cozy at Sienna Crest Memory Care in Mineral Point, WI. She was born on May 30, 1932, at home in Wingville Township in Grant County, WI. She was united in marriage to Donald E. Winkers on July 8, 1950, at the Montfort United Methodist Church. Marilyn attended Oak Grove School and then graduated from Montfort High School as Valedictorian in 1950. Together, she and Don took on the responsibility of farming and she was a farmer’s wife and homemaker for 42 wonderful years. And

LIVINGSTON – Beverly (Nelson) Munson, age 89, had a heavenly reunion with her beloved husband Dean on November 25, 2024. Bev was born on November 11, 1935, in Castle Rock Township to Margaret (Hulsether) and Carl Nelson. She graduated from Montfort High School as Salutatorian—she would have been Valedictorian if it weren’t “for that one smart girl.” She married her partner in life, Dean L. VERONA – Dorothy L. Kane, age 92, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at St. Mary’s Care Center in Madison. Dorothy was born on August 10, 1932, in Cassville, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Margaret Dressen and Reiner Hochhausen. She was raised in rural Cassville; graduated from Cassville High School. She loved to dance – especially the polka and performed in many plays. She worked for Ray Eckstein Law Office, was a guide at Stonefield Museum and worked as a bookkeeper for Wisconsin Barge Line. She also volunteered at St. Charles Catholic Church. She worked in Verona at
