  STITZER – It is with the deepest regret that we announce the passing of John Lester Michel on Wednesday October 30, 2024. John was born on Sunday January 13, 1946, in Stitzer; the son of Lester and Edna (Wefel) Michel, who both preceded him in death. John graduated from Fennimore High School in 1964 and went on to earn a degree in Agriculture from UW Platteville in 1968. PATCH GROVE – Patricia “Pat or Trish” Shaklee, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at her home. Trish was born on July 7th, 1956; the daughter of Arthur and Doris (White) Fremont. In her younger years, Trish was wanderlust. She never wanted to stay in one place. She loved traveling all over. She lived in Idaho and Nevada for much of her years before she moved back home in 2003. After Trish had come back home she met her late partner, Brad Harvey who she adored dearly.
