MOUNT IDA – Glenn Robert Zart, age 75, passed away on Thursday April 25, 2024, surrounded by his family, at home. He was born on November 15, 1948; the son of Robert and Norma (Burton) Zart. On December 6, 1969, Glenn married Linda Hofstetter, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Fennimore. At just 17 years old, and still a senior at Fennimore High School, Glenn took over his family farm. LANCASTER – Marie Ellen (Richgels) Vincent, age 79, passed away on Wednesday April 24, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, at Orchard Manor in Lancaster. Marie was born on February 16, 1945; the daughter of Leonard and Helen (Wanezek) Richgels. She attended and graduated from Lancaster High school in 1963. FENNIMORE – Dorothy I. Cordts, age 96, passed away on Tuesday April 23, 2024, at Boscobel Care & Rehab. Dorothy was born on July 20, 1927; the daughter of Harry and Myrtle (McVay) McLimans. She attended and graduated from Fennimore High School.  On November 3, 1949, Dorothy was united in marriage to Clifford “Nipper” Cordts. He preceded her in death in 1996. Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Fennimore. She and Clifford made their home and raised their children in Fennimore. She worked at Rayovac for 30 years before she retired. DODGEVILLE – Joan M. Kirkpatrick, age 91, passed away on April 10, 2024, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital -Madison. She was born on May 18, 1932; the daughter of Leo Sr. and Mildred (Heibel) Dochnal. Joan Graduated from Dodgeville High School and lived in Dodgeville until 1964, when she married  Richard Kirkpatrick. Joan and Richard resided in Monfort for forty years. She later moved back to Dodgeville to be closer to her family.  Richard and Joan had three children: son, Richie Kirkpatrick and twin daughters, Jodi Whitcher and Jana Lengyel. Louella “Ellie” R. Zintz

FENNIMORE – Louella “Ellie” R. Zintz, age 81, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 20, 2024. Ellie was born July 1, 1942, in Richwood Township. Ellie grew up in the rural Blue River and Excelsior areas. She was youngest of 11 children and daughter to Ray and Cora (Dalton) Dyer.  She was a talented singer, often entertaining at local functions.  Her favorite story that made her smile every time she told it was of the day she was performing on stage at the Blue River Park.  She was singing her heart out for the crowd during a men’s softball tournament.  The
