Lillian LuVerne Gilbertson, age 92, of Fennimore, WI passed away on Friday December 9, 2022, at Divine Nursing & Rehabilitation in Fennimore, with family by her side. She passed away thirty years after her husband Glen, who died on December 6, 1992. Lillian was born October 15, 1930, to Kernal and Alma (Olson) Anderson.  She had nine siblings. Roger L. Walter

Roger Lee Walter, age 69, of rural Rewey, WI passed away on Friday December 9, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Roger was the third son of four boys and 2 girls born to Hazel and Harley Walter of rural Potosi, Wisconsin. Roger attended the former Pea Ridge one-room schoolhouse located across from the family farm in Potosi, he graduated from Potosi HS and Southwest Tech Agriculture program. Roger was born on March 6, 1953 and grew up on a family farm of dairy cows, hogs, steers, chickens and crops learning and loving the farming life. Roger started driving tractor

Shirley A. Conley

Shirley Ann Conley, 90, of Fennimore passed away peacefully at her home, Sunday, December 4, 2022, after a short battle with AML (acute myeloid leukemia). She was born October 31, 1932, to Gordon and Elnora (Smith) Arneson, in Scott Township, Crawford County, WI.  She attended and graduated from Boscobel High School in 1952.  After high school, she worked at the UW Hospital in Madison, until her marriage to George Conley on July 1, 1953. They farmed in Woodman Township for 50 years, before retiring to Fennimore in 2005. Shirley was a member of the Altar Society at St Lawrence O’Toole

Linda S. Snider

Linda Sue Snider, age 71, of Cassville, WI passed away unexpectedly on Saturday December 3, 2022, at the Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster, WI. She was born on September 27, 1951, in Beloit the daughter of George and Norma (Helser) Bown. Linda married Frances Laufenberg and after his untimely death, she was united in marriage to Ronald “Ronnie” Snider on October 6, 1973, at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bloomington. Linda adored her family and loved supporting her grandchildren with all their activities. She looked forward to every Wednesday when she and Kathy would have a sister day.

Adelia C. Brechler

Adelia Carol Brechler, 86, of Fennimore joined her beloved husband Claude Brechler in the Lord’s Kingdom on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022, at her home.  Adelia was born March 13, 1936, in the Freymiller family farmhouse in Marion township. Adelia attended Fennimore High School and was high kicker on the cheer leading squad.  She met the love of her life at a local dance and sparks flew.  She married Claude on Oct. 19, 1955.  She was the epitome of a traditional Wisconsin rural farm housewife with many a twist. She spoke her mind openly and was a leader throughout the community.
