Eldon Harlan Washburn, age 84, of Fennimore, WI passed away on Friday December 23, 2022, at the U.W. Hospital in Madison. He was born on April 11, 1938, in Montfort the son of Lee and Alvina (Yerke) Washburn. He spent his early childhood in Mineral Point before moving with his parents in 1950 to a farm in the Mt. Dorothy Margaret France, age 97, of Platteville, formerly of Livingston, WI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Sienna Crest Assisted Living in Platteville. She was born July 31, 1925, the daughter of Tony and Alvena (Funk) Fuerstenburg. Dorothy was united in marriage to Marvin France on May 6th, 1952, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fennimore. They lived in Livingston where they raised their family. Dorothy worked as a cook for the Livingston Grade School for five years. She then started babysitting for children out of her home until her retirement at the age of 78. She

James “Jim” Whitish, age 81, of Fennimore, WI passed away unexpectedly on Monday evening December 12, 2022, at the Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster with his beloved wife Laurie by his side. He was born on March 6, 1941, at the home farm in Wingville Township Grant County, WI. He was united in marriage to Laurie McClusky on January 4, 1961, at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fennimore. Alice Myra Anderson, age 85, of Stoughton, WI formerly of Ridgeway, WI, passed away on Friday December 9, 2022, at The Rivers Assisted Living in Portage, WI. She was born on June 30, 1937, in Montfort, WI the daughter of Earl and Myra (Steils) Dailey and was later united in marriage to Palmer Anderson. Alice was raised in Bloomington, WI, as a child. After working various jobs, she raised her family in Ridgeway while being employed at the Stauffer Cheese Processing Plant in Blue Mounds. Later she went on to work at the Madison General Hospital in the housekeeping department

Roger William Trankle, Age 84, of Monroe WI formerly of Cobb/Montfort, WI, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love and family on Friday, December 9, 2022. Roger was born on his family’s farm to William and Vera Trankle, July 22, 1938, completing their family of nine. Roger attended Sunshine Country School starting lifelong friendships, developing a playful yet devilish demeanor while being spoiled by six older sisters along the way. Roger or “Pidge” as some knew him, attended Cobb High School in Cobb, WI, where he participated in basketball, baseball, FFA, student council, and various other extracurricular activities. After
