Fennimore – Kathleen A. Stephens, age 68 of Fennimore died on Monday morning Dec. 30, 2013 at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster.  Kathleen was born on Feb. 8, 1945 in Boscobel, WI the daughter of Hollis and Beulah (Moen) Nelson.  She married Steve Stephens on May 7, 1982 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Fennimore. William (Bill) Thomas Argall, 42, passed away peacefully on December 18, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City after a short illness.  He was born July 5, 1971, in Dodgeville, WI, the son of Thomas and Diana (Benson) Argall.  He graduated from Iowa-Grant High School in 1989 and later from UW-Platteville with a degree in Ag Business. Bill worked in sales for several chemical/fertilizer companies, most recently as Location Manager/Sales Agronomist for Landmark Services Co-op in Warren, IL.   He loved selling and swapping sales stories with his father, who he thought was the best salesman in the world

Thelma S. Cook, age 94 of Fennimore, died on Wednesday evening Dec. 11, 2013 at Boscobel Care and Rehabilitation in Boscobel.  Thelma was born on Sept. 5, 1919 in Shullsburg, WI the daughter of Chester and Elizabeth (Laird) Trebilcock.  She married Harold Lamont Cook on Sept. 7, 1939 in Valparaiso, Indiana. Thelma loved life on the farm. She and Lamont farmed in rural Shullsburg until moving to Fennimore in 1953. They continued farming in Wingville Township Grant Co. until 1978. Douglas LaVern Jeardeau, age 42 of Hermiston, Oregon, and formerly of Fennimore, WI died unexpectedly on Thursday Dec. 5, 2013 at his residence in Hermiston. Douglas was born on Feb. 24, 1971 in Lancaster, WI the son of Ronald and Mary (Furstenberg) Jeardeau.  He was married to Davia Hamm in April of 2004 while in California and had been presently awaiting his marriage to fiancé Ranee Nankani. Following graduation from Fennimore High School in 1989, Douglas enlisted in the United States Air Force.  He spent the majority of his military career stationed at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, CA
