Fennimore, WI-Donna P. Lomas, age 82, died on Thursday Sept. 19, 2013 at the Fennimore Good Samaritan Society in Fennimore. Donna was born on Jan. 7, 1931 in Dodgeville the daughter of Dell & Norma (Yelinek) Needham. She was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, James Lomas on Aug. 16, 1952 in Fennimore. Donna graduated from Fennimore in 1948 and then went to work as a secretary for Dr. Howell’s office until working in Rockford at the Barber Coleman Factory in the clerical department. Allen L. Eck

Stitzer – Allen L. Eck, age 82, of Stitzer died on Friday morning Sept. 20, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Society in Fennimore.  Allen was born on July 7, 1931 in Lancaster, WI the son of Lesko and Bertha (White) Eck. Allen was raised on the family farm outside of Stitzer. Following graduation from Fennimore High School, Allen worked for a short time for NASA in Florida before returning to Stitzer where he operated his milk hauling business, “Milk for Stitzer”.  He then was employed at John Deere in Dubuque, IA for 30 years until his retirement in 1987.  Allen

Florence Heberlein

Lancaster- Florence Heberlein, age 89, of Lancaster and formerly of Stitzer died on Friday morning Sept. 6, 2013 at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster.  Florence was born on June 2, 1924 in Cassville, WI the daughter of Charles and Mary (Breuer) Hampton.  She married Reuben Heberlein on Jan 29, 1945 in Fennimore. Florence was a very hard worker who enjoyed working next her husband each day on the farm. She also cleaned homes for area elderly and bachelors and loved to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Fennimore – June E. Cottingham, age 90 of Fennimore died on Thursday morning Sept. 5, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Society in Fennimore. June was born on June 2, 1923 in Annaton, WI the daughter of Donald & Thelma (Morse) Loy. She was united in marriage to Leonard Cottingham on May 16, 1942 in Dodgeville. June graduated from Livingston High School in 1940. She then went to work for the Fennimore Telephone Co. as a switchboard operator for several years.  After being a homemaker for a few years, June became employed at Fennimore High School in the food service program

Mary Ann Gray

Livingston, WI-Mary Ann Gray, age 86 died on Tuesday Sept. 3, 2013 at the Bloomfield Healthcare & Rehabilitation in rural Dodgeville. At Mary Ann’s request no formal memorial services will be held but a special Sunday worship service dedicated in loving memory of Mary Ann Gray will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Sunday morning Sept 22, 2013 at the Livingston United Methodist Church in Livingston. Family and friends are welcome to gather for a time of fellowship and light refreshments from 10:00 A.M. until time of Sunday worship in the church hall.
