Hope Township the daughter of James & Nellie (Durnen) O’Shaughnessy. Catherine was united in marriage to Vernon Riemenapp on Nov. 17, 1949 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fennimore. Stitzer, WI-Virgil George Bendorf, age 84, left for his eternal home on Wednesday May 25, 2016. He was born Aug. 4, 1931 in rural Lancaster to Lewis and Nellie (Wieland) Bendorf. He graduated from Lancaster High School with the class of 1949. On December 9, 1952 Virgil left for army basic training at Indian Town Gap, Pennsylvania. Helen V. Yerke, age 94, of Fennimore, died on Tuesday May 17, 2016, at the Fennimore Good Samaritan Society. Helen was born on July 2, 1921, in Fennimore Township, the daughter of William and Julia (Lemanski) Worley. She married LaVerne Yerke in April of 1939. Helen and LaVerne farmed outside of Fennimore on Wood Road until LaVerne’s untimely death in 1969. William L. Frankenhoff, 79, of Boscobel and formerly of Fennimore, died Sunday, May 8, 2016, at the Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital. William was born on June 1, 1936, in Madison, to Kenneth and Esther (Pasold) Frankenhoff. He lived most of his life on the family dairy farm located on Hwy. 61 north of Fennimore, purchasing the farm from his father in the mid-1960s.
