James W. Soman, age 72, of Fennimore, died on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at the Fennimore Good Samaritan Society. James was born on August 12, 1945 in Green Bay, WI the son of Walter and Elizabeth (Wedewart) Soman. Jim moved to Livingston in 1959 and graduated from Iowa-Grant High School. Richard Lee Scott, age 53, of Boscobel/Fennimore, died unexpectedly on Thursday evening Nov. 23, 2017, at Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital. Richard was born on Oct. 1, 1964, in Boscobel. Rich graduated from Fennimore High School with the class of 1983. He then served in the US Army before receiving a degree in Wastewater Management from Kirkwood College. Rich had a deep love for his family and was a beloved dad, son, brother, grandpa and best friend. Marvin W. Harms, age 89, died on Saturday morning Nov. 18, 2017, at Bloomfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Dodgeville. He was born on Dec. 19, 1927 on the Steil’s Farm to Wilson and Ida (Anderson) Harms. Marvin was united in marriage to Arlene Leibold on April 19, 1958 at St. Joesph Catholic Church in Dubuque, IA. Kim was born on April 3, 1957 in Fort Atkinson the daughter of Robert and Valerie (Bigelow) Heitz. She married Darwyn Haser on January 15, 1977 in Fort Atkinson. Kim and Darwyn farmed in the Richland Center area for 11 years before moving to Plain and later Hickory Grove Township, rural Boscobel, where they have resided for the past 22 years. Marilyn Sue Finley, age 77, of Fennimore, died on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017 at her residence in North Lancaster Township. Sue was born on Oct. 20, 1940 in Janesville, WI, the daughter of Harold and Lula (Stoner) Finley. Sue was raised on the family farm in Rock Township and attended Bass Creek Country School and graduated from Janesville High School in 1958. Clyde was born on May 6, 1921 to Lloyd and Nellie Bishop Wagner on the Wagner farm in Wingville Township, Livingston.
