He was born on November 3, 1951, in Dodgeville the son of Gordon and Shirley (Mueller) Jones. Paul was united in marriage to Grace Menninga on July 29, 1972, in Mifflin. She was born on May 30, 1960, in Dodgeville the daughter of Clifford and Fern (Lee) Norton. Julie graduated from Pecatonica High School. She enlisted in the U.S. Army and then returned to the area following her honorable discharge.
