Fennimore, WI-Letha May Wiese, age 90 died on Friday morning March 1, 2013 at Boscobel Care & Rehabilitation in Boscobel, WI. She was born on Aug. 18, 1922 in Willow Township Richland Co., WI the daughter of Joe & Winnie (Reflogle) Brownell. Letha was united in marriage to Reinhold Wiese on Dec. 3, 1958 in Monroe, WI.
Letha & Reinhold worked many agricultural positions during their lives together. She was adept at cooking, canning and gardening, making do without a lot of luxuries. After Reinhold’s death on May 22, 1991, she lived alone in Fennimore until moving to the Boscobel Care & Rehabilitation Center in Boscobel in Oct. of 2008.
Letha is survived by nieces and nephews as well as other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Reinhold in 1991, a brother Howard in 1935, and an infant brother LeRoy in 1925.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday March 5, 2013 at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore with burial to follow in the Concord Cemetery in Willow Township, Richland Co., WI. Pastor Charles Miller of St. Peter Lutheran Church will be officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home on Tuesday morning.
