BOSCOBEL – Beverly “Bev” A Zintz passed away on Monday September 30, 2024, at Gunderson Boscobel Area Hospital surrounded by her family. Bev was born on December 3, 1944, to Kenneth and Genevieve (Miller) Zintz. She graduated from Boscobel High school in 1960 and went on to work for Motorola Corporation in Illinois where she met her life partner (wife) Diane Frank. Their career to them to Arizona where they retired. After retirement, Bev and Diane moved back to Boscobel to be near family and friends.
Bev loved playing cards with her sister and loved to collect Snoopy memorabilia and shot glasses from all over the country. She made sure family and friends would bring her shot glasses from their travels too. Bev loved spending time with her neighbor kids Jory and Ryan Vial. She watched them grow from babies to beautiful young adults. Bev was an avid reader and the family would like to thank Kelly and Gina at the Boscobel library for accepting the challenge of supplying her with 6 to 8 books each week.
Beverly is survived by her life partner (wife) of 46 years, Diane; sister, Brenda Zintz; two stepdaughters, Lori Frank and Lisa (Gary) Dassow of Avoca; five step grandchildren: Teri (Lucas Burkon) Nelson of Poplar Grove, IL, Robert “Bobby” (Ereka) MacDougall of Durand, IL, Andi (David) McDevitt of Roscoe, IL, Zach (Courtney) Woodward of Janesville, WI, and Jessie (Michael Rock Nelson) Smola of Rockford, IL; 14 great grandchildren; nephews and niece: Robert “Robbie” Felice of Huntsville, AL, Amber Kypke of Waunakee, WI, and John “Hank” (Victoria) Kypke of Loganville, WI; 5 great nieces and nephews; and many other close family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Genevieve Zintz and her sisters Betty Felice and Kenda Kypke.
