James attended high school in Seneca and then worked for a construction company, building various bridges throughout the area. After several years he returned to the family farm. He purchased the farm and enjoyed working the land until his retirement in 2009. Later in life, James enjoyed the simple things, having coffee at Bob’s, cracking walnuts or sitting under the shade tree and watching the traffic pass by his property. James enjoyed spending time with his daughters and loved having the grandchildren out to the farm. His quick sense of humor and his enjoyment of conversation with family and friends will be deeply missed.
