Brock Joseph Esser

FENNIMORE – Brock Joseph Esser, age 22, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 11, 2024. Brock was born on April 23, 2001; the son of Cody (Amanda) Esser and Kimberly (Marc) Sweeney. He attended Fennimore schools, where he enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. Brock graduated with the Fennimore class of 2019 and went on to work for Skyline in Lancaster, where he worked for three years. Recently, Brock worked at Reggie’s with his mom and his sister.

Brock loved his family, pets, and spending time with his close group of friends. He enjoyed watching sports, going fishing, and swimming with his siblings. Brock had a great sense of humor. He was easygoing, friendly, and always put others before himself. He would do anything for anybody and always wanted to do what was right. Brock was a light to everybody who knew him, and his presence will be greatly missed.

Brock is survived by his parents; siblings: Hailey Sweeney, Pierce Sweeney, Craig Esser, Jayzen Brandes-Esser, Kaylee Brandes, Paislee Daniels, Mackenzie Martin, Alexa Martin, and Brantley Martin; aunts and uncles: Josh (Laykn) Watters, Matt Watters, Shannon Sweeney, Kelly Esser, Corey (Angel) Esser, Brad (Felicia) Kasparek, Amy (Nick) Budworth, Mike Kasparek; maternal grandparents, Dan and Sue Watters; paternal grandparents, Julie (Bruce) Yager and Jeff (Beverly) Kasparek; grandmother, Rose Sweeney; great grandmother, Marge Watters; and stepmom, Jessica Brandes. He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Fay Watters, great grandmother, Gale Matthews; and cousin, Brayden Watters.
