Glenn E. Larson

FENNIMORE - Glenn Ernell Larson, age 87, passed away on Wednesday February 14, 2024, peacefully in his sleep. He was born on June 6, 1936, the son of Cenious and Bessie (Cottingham) Larson. Glenn met the love of his life, Lois Staskal at community dances. They were united in marriage on April 4, 1959, and would have celebrated 65 wonderful years together this year. Glenn and Lois farmed on the family farm for many years in Fennimore Township that Glenn grew up on. Farming was a hard thankless job, but Glenn enjoyed it. He also enjoyed dancing, playing euchre, reading western novels, spending time with family and especially his grandchildren that he cherished and adored.

Glenn is survived by his wife Lois of 65 years and two daughters Lori (Mike) Helgeson of Des Moines, IA, and Penny (Phil) Ohlert of Prairie du Chien, along with five grandchildren: Katy (Dallas) Stoll, Megan (Colton) Smith, Kelsey (Jimmy) Jones, Lindsey (Zach) Ohlert, and Hailey (Traeton) Ohlert; and eight great-grandchildren: Emma, Drew, Pennelope, Sophie, Savannah, Griffin, Graham, and Meredith.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Cenious and Bessie Larson.
