Delores E. Conner, age 86 of Platteville and formerly of Livingston died on Monday morning May 6, 2013 at ManorCare in Platteville. She was born August 17, 1926.
Throughout her younger years, Delores was very active in the Rebekah Lodge and was head of the Tops weight loss program. She adored young children and loved being a foster mother to infants that were born in hospitals until finding them a home. She did this great deed for numerous years. Dee also enjoyed visiting with other residence at Our House along with putting puzzles together with residence and staff.
Deloris is survived by her son, John Williams and her daughter-in-law, Polly Bratzke, two grandchildren, Derek and Henry (Sherri) Bratzke along with several nieces and nephews. Delores was preceded in death by her parents, son Henry “Hank” Bratzke in 1997, and her three siblings.
A prayer service was held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday May 9, 2013 at the Soman-Larson Funeral Home in Montfort with burial following in the St. Philip Cemetery in Highland. Father Ken Frisch of St. Thomas Catholic Church officiated. A visitation was held from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon.
