MOUNT HOPE – Patrick L. Patterson passed away peacefully on June 19th, 2026, one day before his 73rd birthday. Pat was born on June 20th, 1953, the second child of Marjorie and Robert Patterson. Pat graduated from Bloomington High School in 1971 and attended the University of Wisconsin at Platteville where he was a member of the Pioneer football team.  One of Pat’s fondest memories was scoring several touchdowns at Soldier’s Field in Chicago where they were playing against a Chicago area college. Pat worked in concrete and construction most of his life and it was on a concrete job

Arthur “Art” J. Heuer

COBB – Arthur “Art” J. Heuer, age 94, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at CrestRidge Assisted Living after suffering from COPD and congestive heart failure.  Art was born January 23, 1932, to Arthur and Bertha (Fingerson) Heuer.  He graduated from Cobb High School in 1950 and married his high school sweetheart, Sonnie Bishop, on September 19, 1953.  Art and Sonnie raised three daughters. Art farmed nearly his entire life, taking over the family farm at the age of 15, when his father passed away. He also sold feed for Nutrena Feeds as a side job while farming.

MOUNT IDA – Betty Jeidy, age 93, passed away peacefully at her residence on June 15, 2026, with her family by her side. Betty was born in Mt. Ida, WI, on November 2, 1932, the daughter of Charles (Bill) Grimesey and Gladys Goodrich Grimesey Bowers. Betty was raised in Mt. Ida by her grandmother, Mae Goodrich, and graduated from Fennimore High School in 1950.  Betty was united in marriage to Darrell “Mayor” Jeidy on September 11, 1952, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa, and they were blessed with 64 years of marriage until he passed away on March

Lillian Kay (Moe) Veld — “Tillie,” “Ma” December 11, 1938 – January 13, 2026 Lillian Kay (Moe) Veld, age 87, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026. Born on December 11, 1938, in Richland Center, Wisconsin, Lillian was the daughter of Casper M. Moe and Hannah M. (Goplin) Moe. She was the youngest of ten children and was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Harold Orville Moe, Fay C. Moe, Darwin G. Moe, Ellen L. Moe (infant), Mildred I. Moe, Wesley R. Moe, Alice T. (Moe) Fowler, Gilbert A. Moe, and Norris B. Moe. Raised in the Bosstown area
