LANCASTER – Clara Marie Landon, age 94, passed away on Tuesday January 21, 2025, at Grant Regional Hospital in Lancaster. She was born in Werley, WI on November 11, 1930; the daughter of Norman and Addie (Gribble) Stephenson. Clara was united in marriage to Leo Landon on September 7, 1994, and they spent 30 wonderful years together. BOSCOBEL – Robert “Bob” P. Childs, age 88, passed away on Saturday January 18, 2025, at his home that he moved and renovated, surrounded by his family. Bob was born on May 12, 1936, the son of Seth and Lela Childs. He was united in marriage to Gale Miller on August 18, 1955, in Dubuque, IA. In his earlier years, Bob embraced the demanding work as a farmer. He was eventually employed with Design Homes in Prairie, moving homes for them. MONTFORT – Rose Anne Haufler, passed away peacefully on Friday January 17, 2025, at Springbrook Retirement Community of Onalaska, at the age of 92. Rose Anne was born the youngest of eight children to Edward and Rose (Clark) Trendel on November 8, 1932. She liked to mention, it was the day Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected President. MONTFORT – Robert “Bob” M. Helmich, age 91, passed away peacefully on Monday January 13, 2025, at Upland Hills Nursing & Rehab Center in Dodgeville. He was born on January 10, 1934; the son of Wallace and Mamie (Belk) Helmich After high school, Bob enlisted in the army. He was eventually stationed in Munich Germany where he was a Master Sergeant and paratrooper in the airborne division. She was born on October 8, 1943, in Chicago, IL; the daughter of John and Rita Salemi.
