FENNIMORE, WI/HEBRON, IL - Mildred “Millie” Mary (Salemi) Jastrzembski, age 81, went to be an angel in Heaven, with her Lord on Sunday, January 12, 2025. She was born on October 8, 1943, in Chicago, IL; the daughter of John and Rita Salemi.
Millie was united in marriage to Louis Jastrzembski on August 27, 1966, at the Church of The Divine Savior in Norridge, IL. They celebrated their 58th Wedding Anniversary in 2024.
Millie loved to can fruits and vegetables and enjoyed gardening with her family. She also took to cooking and cooking “big” with large pots always on the stove. She took great pride in putting food away for the winter. As a hobby, she loved to do crafts, and sell them at the farmers market, as well as making gifts. She cherished her time during the period she lived on acreage, and often reminisced of that era, in her later years. She attended BINGO whenever possible and enjoyed playing card and board games as a great past time.
Millie’s family meant everything to her, and being the zodiac sign of Libra, she shared her heart and love equally with all. Her love for her family: her spouse, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were the light of her life. Celebrating birthdays and special occasions always warmed her heart.
Millie is survived by her husband, Louis Raymond Jastrzembski of Fennimore; her daughter Tina (Terry) Dittman of Fennimore; her son Louis (Lisa) Jastrzembski of Portland, TN; three grandchildren: Aleks, Beth and Amanda; four great-grandchildren; and her grand-pup Mylo. She was preceded in death by her parents.
