FENNIMORE – Patricia “Pattie” R. Wells, age 76, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. Pattie was born on March 7, 1948; the daughter of Russell and Eileen (Huffman) Fordney. Pattie graduated from Fennimore High School in 1966 and remained a pillar in the community for the rest of her life. She was born on January 22, 1934, on the family farm in Montfort, the daughter of Milton and Fern (Everson) Leix. Eileen was united in marriage to Roger Fingerson on June 27, 1953, at the Montfort United Methodist Church. Eileen graduated from Cobb High School in 1951. FENNIMORE – Samuel “Sam” Ray Shumate, age 72, passed away on Sunday October 13, 2024, with his beloved family by his side. He was born in Hillsboro, WI on June 15, 1952; the son of Bernard and Mildred (Adkins) Shumate. Sam graduated from Sparta High School and was united in marriage to Pamela “Pam” Burnham on September 11, 1971. FENNIMORE – Wayne E. Raymond, age 88, passed away on Friday morning October 4, 2024, at Prairie Maison Nursing Home in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. He was born on September 29, 1936; the son on Leonard and Frieda (Mueller) Raymond. Wayne was a graduate of Reedstown High School where he gained recognition as an excellent pitcher for the baseball team. BOSCOBEL – Beverly “Bev” A Zintz passed away on Monday September 30, 2024, at Gunderson Boscobel Area Hospital surrounded by her family. Bev was born on December 3, 1944, to Kenneth and Genevieve (Miller) Zintz. She graduated from Boscobel High school in 1960 and went on to work for Motorola Corporation in Illinois where she met her life partner (wife) Diane Frank.
