SHERWOOD, WI – Sherry Sue Phillips, age 78, died peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, September 22, 2024, after a short battle with cancer. Sherry was born in Boscobel, to John and Helen (Slade) Wubbenhorst. She spent her early years growing up on a small farm outside of town and enjoyed sharing many stories from these years with her children and grandchildren. FENNIMORE – Shirley Louise Wienkes, age 81, passed away on Friday September 20, 2024, at Orchard Manor in Lancaster. She was born on August 17, 1943; the daughter of Floyd and Alice (Cohen) Hore. Shirley Graduated from Iowa-Grant Highschool in 1961 and married her beloved husband, Ralph Wienkes on December 27, 1961, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Montfort. Together, they spent 17 years farming just outside of Fennimore. In addition to her work on the farm, Shirley dedicated about 10 years babysitting, nurturing, and caring for many children. FENNIMORE – Ann Marie Tollefson, age 74, passed away on Friday September 13, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on September 8, 1950, the beloved daughter of Lincoln and Phebe (Streeter) Tollefson. Ann grew up on the family farm in Castle Rock Township near Fennimore, where she was the second oldest of seven siblings. She led a life of true determination and grit after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 12, which left her with severe physical and mental deficits, but her smile and love of family was infectious and will always be treasured. FENNIMORE – Lois Catherine Hullermann, age 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 8, 2024, at her home. She was born on December 6, 1935; the daughter of Emmert and Dorothy (Lappe) Reth. Lois graduated from Lamont High School in Iowa in 1953 and married Thomas Hullermann on June 4, 1955. Lois and Tom owned and operated their family farm, located near Patch Grove, for many years. Lois worked alongside Tom and their children on the beef farm and could usually be found driving the tractor. Raising her family on the farm was something Lois was very proud of and

LINDEN – Paula Marie Rule, age 73, passed away on Thursday September 5, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 20, 1950; the daughter of Paul and Naomia (Wagner) Zimmerman. Paula was raised on the family farm along with her siblings, where she became an expert potato planter and picker.  She graduated from Iowa-Grant High School in 1968. On March 7, 1970, Paula married William “Will” Rule in Mineral Point. They shared 52 years of love and laughter. Together they cultivated a life filled with love and hard work.
