Kenneth J. “Skeeter” Moen, age 84, of Livingston, WI quietly passed away on Tuesday, Feb 15th, 2022, at Crestridge Assisted Living Facility in Dodgeville, WI. He was born in Wilmington, DE, on Sept 30th, 1937, to Ken and Pauline (Holmes) Moen. Eighteen days later, Pauline died and her parents, Winnie and Harvey Holmes, boarded a train for DE, picked him up and brought him back to Cobb, WI, where Skeeter lived with them, until he went to college. Brady C. Bourret, age 27, of Montfort, WI passed away unexpectedly on Thursday February 10, 2022, at his residence. He was born on February 5, 1995, in Dodgeville the son of Troy and Jana (Kirkpatrick) Bourret. Brady attended Iowa-Grant High School and enjoyed playing football. After high school, Brady entered the workforce. He worked with Seth Venden Construction, Grass-Pro, cutting wood, and until recently, being employed at Lactalis in Belmont. Paul “Larry” Wolenec, age 83, of Montfort, WI passed away at home on Friday, February 11, 2022.  Larry was born on March 6, 1938, to Stanley and Martha (Tomas) Wolenec. He graduated from Montfort High School and at the age of 17 volunteered to serve in the US Army, where he was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska.  On February 28, 1959, he married Jo Ann Schambow in Platteville.  He and Jo Ann lived for 60+ years of their married life on a farm north of Montfort.  He loved spending time behind the wheel of a tractor working the land, hunting, fishing,

Linda Kay (Zart) Peters, age 69, of Madison, WI died on Wednesday February 2, 2022, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. She was born on February 7, 1952, in Lancaster the daughter of Frank L. and June E. (Wolf) Zart. Throughout her younger years, Linda resided in Potosi, Stitzer, Rewey, and Mineral Point. She graduated from Iowa-Grant High School in 1971. Linda was employed at the Iowa-Grant School from 1971 until 1975. Kristine A. Harris, age 71, of Boscobel, WI passed away unexpectedly on Thursday February 3, 2022, U.W. Hospital in Madison. She was born on February 2, 1951, in Boscobel the daughter of Lewis and Faye (Ward) Roth. Kristine was united in marriage to Arlie Harris on December 18, 1971, in Mt. Zion. Kristine grew up in Mt. Zion and graduated from Boscobel High School in 1969. She continued her education and moved to Madison and received her barber-cosmetology degree. Kristine returned home, and married Arlie.
