Gregory John Cook, age 67, of Avoca passed away on Friday morning December 18, 2020 at his residence. He was born on January 4, 1953 in Dodgeville the son of Roscoe and Bernadine (Straka) Cook. Greg married Louann O’Konek on May 1, 1976 and adopted her daughter, Lisa Marie. Greg was later united in marriage to Beth DeJong on June 26, 2004. Michael J. Kirschbaum

Michael J. Kirschbaum, age 89, of Lancaster formerly of Mt. Hope passed away on Wednesday December 16, 2020 at Lancaster Health Services in Lancaster, WI. He was born on September 29, 1931 in Cassville the son of Michael and Goldie (Jones) Kirschbaum. He was united in marriage to Janice Lester on April 4, 1974. After high school, Mike enlisted in the United States Navy serving his country for 10 years. With an honorable discharge, he returned home and farmed in Mt Hope Township. Frank Joseph Mumm, 66, died unexpectedly December 15th, 2020 at Agrace Hospice in Madison WI after a relentless battle with cancer. He was born June 8th, 1954, in Cassville, WI, the son of William and Mercedes (Edge) Mumm.  In Frank’s early years after graduating from Iowa Grant High School, he enjoyed working on the family farm. Raymond G. Kirschbaum

Raymond G. Kirschbaum, age 91, of Woodman, WI passed away on Friday December 11, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. Ray was born on June 2, 1929 to Mike and Goldie (Jones) Kirschbaum in Cassville at his grandfather’s farm, which is part of Nelson Dewey State Park now. He attended school, which is now Stonefield, in Cassville.  Ray had worked for farmers around Bloomington until he went home after his father’s stroke to run the family farm and support the rest of the family. Tammy Jean Scanlan, age 53 of Eau Claire, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 12th at her home of complications due to Multiple Sclerosis. Tammy was born in Lancaster, Wisconsin on November 22nd, 1967 to Robert and Lorraine (Fritz) Pagenkopf.  Tammy graduated from Fennimore High School in 1986 and married her sweetheart Jeffrey Scanlan on October 5th, 1991. Tammy earned her Associates Degree in Accounting at Southwest Technical College while starting her young family.
