Cathy A. Dailey, age 66, of Livingston passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning June 17, 2019 at the University Hospital in Madison as the result of being involved in an automobile accident. She was born on November 18, 1952 in Dodgeville the daughter of Gordon and Fern (Fingerson) Cook. After graduating from Iowa-Grant High School, Cathy was united in marriage to Mark R. Dailey on June 6, 1970 at the Montfort United Methodist Church. Claire E. James, age 97, of Mineral Point, WI passed away on Wednesday evening June 5, 2019 at Sienna Crest, Mineral Point. Claire Eileen Morrissey was born on Dec. 15, 1921 in Glen Haven Township Grant Co., WI the daughter of Walter and Jessie (David) Morrissey. Claire grew up on a farm near Bloomington, WI. She attended school there and graduated from Bloomington High School in 1939. Claire’s grandparents lived in Montfort and it was there she met Curtiss James. Larry G. Herpel, age 86, of Duluth, MN formerly of Fennimore, WI died on Wednesday Nov. 14, 2018 at the Chris Jenson Rehabilitation Center in Duluth, MN. He was born on November 5, 1932 in Richland County the son of Lawrence and Mildred (Hardy) Herpel. He was united in marriage to Darlus (Martin) Herpel and was remarried to Vangie (Nutt) Herpel on June 7, 1986. Larry proudly served his country during the Korean War. Betty Aileen Adams, age 85, passed away on Friday May 31st, 2019 at Devine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Fennimore, WI. Betty was born August 27, 1933 to Otto Kneisel and Edith Barnett Kneisel. When Betty’s mother passed away unexpectedly in 1950, 16 year old Betty cared for the home and younger sisters while completing high school. She graduated from Powhattan Kansas High School in 1951. Betty felt fortunate when her father married Edna Hohnbaum in 1952. With their encouragement, she embarked on her own life-moving to the Topeka YWCA and getting a job at Blue Cross Blue Shield.
