Montfort – Our heavenly Father, received Helen Joan (Meili) Straka, 79, into his arms on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Upland Hills Health and Rehab surrounded by her loving family.  Helen was born on December 12, 1933 to Dwight and Cecelia (Ley) Meili in Dodgeville, Wisconsin . Helen married Leo Straka on September 8, 1956.  They farmed and raised their nine children outside of Montfort, Wisconsin.  Leo preceded her in death on November 3, 2004. Stitzer, WI-Gary L. Scott, age 62 died unexpectedly on Thursday morning April 18, 2013 at the Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. He was born on Oct. 31, 1950 in Lancaster the son of Leonard & Agnes (Mohlmann) Scott. Gary was united in marriage to Susan Kemper on June 6, 1970.  On Aug. 20, 1977 he married Ruth Reuter. Gary graduated from Fennimore High School in 1968. He attended Southwest Technical College in Fennimore where he received his degree in Ag Mechanics. Gary went to work at E.G. Montfort, WI-Patricia J. Schult, age 76 died unexpectedly on Monday afternoon April 8, 2013 at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville. Pat was born on Sept. 14, 1936 in Liberty Township Grant Co., WI the daughter of Elden & Ora (Anding) Hill. She was united in marriage to Donald Schult on Oct. 31, 1953 in Dubuque, IA. Pat graduated from Montfort High School and then worked for Levin’s Grocery Store in Montfort and the Dutchman’s Inn in Livingston. She then received her Certified Nursing Assistant degree and worked for the Fennimore Good Samaritan Society and the Bloomfield Manor Nursing Home. In

Platteville – Rose Marie Brechler Dalen, age 64 of Platteville and formerly of Fennimore passed away on Tuesday morning April 9th, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, IA. Rose was born on June 26, 1948 in Platteville, WI the daughter of Claude and Ruth (Kuehle) Richter. Rose attended St. Mary’s Catholic Grade School and Platteville High School.  After high school she married DuWayne Brechler on Feb. 13, 1971 in Platteville, WI.  Rose worked at the Cobb Canning Factory and owned and operated Brechler Group Home in Fennimore with her husband for 15 years.  She also obtained her CNA license
