The Chicago city-boy fell in love with the small-town, lake life of Detroit Lakes. Bill enjoyed serving the community as a Rotarian, a Mason, and as a member of the Holy Rosary School Board. Bill and Terrie raised their family in Detroit Lakes until a transfer with Snappy took them to the Philadelphia area in 2001where they settled in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. In 2009 Bill accepted a Manufacturing Manager position with Southwark Metal, which is where he rounded out his manufacturing career. Bill so enjoyed his time at Southwark and established some wonderful relationships that he truly cherished during his time there.
Bill was very nostalgic, and some of his favorite things were collecting items from his childhood. He loved classic cars, Pez candy dispensers, Star Trek, comic books, and vinyl records, especially 1970s music. His proudest accomplishments were his precious family. He so enjoyed spending his free time with them watching movies, taking drives through the countryside, and listening to music.
