Fennimore, WI – Rosetta J. Lenzendorf, age 63 of Fennimore and formerly of Cassville died on Wednesday morning Aug 21, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. Rosetta was born on Feb. 27, 1950 in Lancaster, WI the daughter of Albert and Marilyn (Hampton) Breuer. She was united in marriage to George Lenzendorf on May 2, 1970 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville.
Rosetta worked as the office manager at the Rapid Die & Molding Co. in Cassville for 27 years. She then worked for Azco Inc. for 5 years as a project coordinator until being presently employed at Land’s End Corp. in Dodgeville for the past seven years. Being a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and very hard worker were her passions in life. She truly loved her role as “Grandma Sedi” and supported each of the grandchildren in all of their endeavors as their #1 Fan. Grandma Sedi always had ice cream and brownies for them each day as they arrived home from school. Rosetta also enjoyed fishing with George, gardening, cooking, working on puzzles, and proudly displaying her Santa Claus collection at Christmas time for family and friends to enjoy.
Rosetta was survived by her beloved husband George Lenzendorf of Fennimore, two sons; Clint (Tammy) Lenzendorf of Woodman, and Vance (Candy) Lenzendorf of Fennimore, seven grandchildren; Cody, Caleb, twins Triston & Tyler, Courtney, Cory, and Jacob Lenzendorf, father; Albert Breuer of Bloomington, 13 siblings; Phyllis (Jim) Nodorft of Platteville, Paul Breuer of Platteville, Alberta Pfaff of Sacramento, CA, Jerry (Susan) Breuer of Portland, OR, Viola Pfaff (special friend Mark Reger) of Prairie du Chien, Dolores (Dwaine) Meyer of Bloomington, Lester (special friend Ann McCarville-O’Brien) Breuer of Mt Hope, Donita (Fred) Gruender of Cassville, Brenda Breuer of Prairie du Chien, Julita (Don) Singleton of Ohio, Zelda (John) Fried of Cassville, Karla (Kyle) Fishnick of Cassville, Janet Breuer of Lancaster, mother-in-law Loretta Lenzendorf, Lancaster, sister and brother-in-laws; Trudy (Walter) Cliff, Lancaster, Theresa Breuer, Rio, WI, Susan (Jeff) Owens, Poynette, WI, Gregory Lenzendorf, Lancaster, Diane (Kevin) Kuchar, Galesville, WI, Mary (Tim) Reuter, Lone Rock, WI, Debra (Pete) Glassmaker, Patch Grove, and Tammy (Steve) Eggers, Marshall, WI and several special nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rosetta was preceded in death by her mother Marilyn, brother Mark Breuer, brother-in-law Leroy Pfaff, an infant niece Jennifer Fried, father-in-law Bernard Lenzendorf and two infant brother-in-laws, Dennis and Jeff Lenzendorf.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday morning Aug. 26, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fennimore with burial to follow in the Bethel Cemetery in Hickory Grove Township, Grant Co., WI. Father Miguel Galvez will be officiating. A visitation will be held from 4-8:00 P.M. on Sunday evening at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore. A memorial fund is being established for area athletic departments in loving memory of Rosetta J. Lenzendorf.
