Lancaster – Patricia “Patty” L. Smith, age 72 passed away on Thursday morning May 2, 2013 at Orchard Manor in Lancaster, WI. She was born March 6, 1941 in Fennimore, WI the daughter of Donald and Marcella (Wiest) Smith.
Patty enjoyed sewing, playing Bingo, listening to music and collecting stuffed animals. She truly adored her family and her Lord. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fennimore. Patty loved spending time with her mother in Orchard Manor and appreciated her visits from her family. Patty is truly in the arms of her loving Lord.
Patty is survived by her mother Marcella Smith of Orchard Manor in Lancaster, brother David (Jacque) Smith of Montfort, sister Mary Thornton of Marietta, GA, and sister-in-laws; Betty Smith of Fennimore and Kathy (Tim) Tiffany of Lodi along with several nieces, nephews.
Patty was preceded in death by her father Donald Smith Sr. on Nov. 4, 1980, five brothers; Larry, Jack, James, Donnie Jr., and infant brother Joseph, five sisters; Darlene Karasek, Betty Bandekow, Linda Kirchefer, Annette Dobson, and an infant sister Marcella.
A private graveside service was held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday morning May 4, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Fennimore with Father Miguel Galvez officiating. The Larson Family Funeral Home assisted the family and online condolences may be made at www.larsonfuneralhomes.com
