Delores J. Udelhoven, 85, Fennimore, passed away on the morning of May 12, 2019 surrounded by her family. Delores was born on May 8, 1934 in rural Montfort to Clarence and Wilhelmina (Komarek) Stivarius. After her high school graduation, Delores earned her teaching degree from a two-year program at Platteville Normal School and went on to teach at Roger Hollow Country School. Delores was united in marriage to Gerald W. Udelhoven at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Montfort, Wisconsin on February 15, 1955. Florence E. Martin, age 95, of Lancaster formerly of Stitzer passed away on Friday morning May 10, 2019, at the Orchard Manor in Lancaster. She was born on June 17, 1923 in Stitzer the daughter of John and Mary (Wiest) Bennett. Florence was united in marriage to Glen Martin on November 24, 1943 at St. Clement Catholic Church in Lancaster. Florence farmed beside her husband for over 40 years in Liberty Township Grant County. Melly was born on Jan. 9, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of William “Bill” and Jane (Bailey) Hayward. She was united in marriage to Redgie Staskal on Nov. 18, 1962 in Maquoketa, Iowa. Larry W. Aide, age 71, of Fennimore, died on Saturday evening May 4, 2019, at his residence in Fennimore surrounded by his beloved children. Larry was born on August 21, 1947 and after graduating from high school, enlisted in the U.S. Army 9thInfantry. He served from Dec. 30, 1968, until being honorably discharged on Nov. 13, 1974. Larry received personal decorations of a Bronze Star with a Combat V, and two Purple Hearts. Once returning home, he resided in Montfort and in 1994, moved to Fennimore. Alfreda O. Lee, age 85, of Fennimore, passed away peacefully at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster, WI, on Monday, April 22, 2019. Alfreda was born March 15, 1934 in Seneca, WI, the daughter of Temron and Clara (Rand) Aspenson. She was one of five daughters and she attended and graduated from Seneca High School, Seneca WI. Myrna V. (Stich) Croft, age 100, made her final passage peacefully on Friday morning April 5, 2019. She was born on August 2, 1918 and was a lifelong resident of Lancaster, WI. Myrna owned Croft’s Shur-Sav grocery store with her husband, Wilford “Bill” Croft.   She enjoyed travelling, theater, music, and golf. Mastery as a seamstress extended to her work with arts and crafts, especially with seasonal decorations.
