Fennimore – Jerry D. Ketterer, age 76, died unexpectedly on Thursday morning July 3, 2014 at his residence in rural Fennimore.  Jerry was born on May 23, 1938 in Lancaster, WI the son of Donald and Mildred (Riggs) Ketterer.  He married Marilyn Kreul on Aug 31, 1957 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Fennimore. Jerry farmed and lived in Hickory Grove Township his entire life.  He first took over his family farm at the age of 17 following the untimely death of his father.  In 1962,   they moved to Marilyn’s family farm which they later sold to their son Doug.  […]

Montfort, WI-Mary C. Mueller, age 92 died on Saturday June 28, 2014 in Dodgeville, WI. Mary was born on Oct. 10, 1921 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Paul & Helen (Magiera) Pasek. She was united in marriage to Robert J. Mueller on Oct. 5, 1946. Mary & Robert resided in Chicago, IL until his retirement and moved to Montfort in the late 1970’s. Hope Township, Grant Co., WI.  Leo was born on July 5, 1942 in Lancaster, WI the son of Leo H. and Anna Marie (Morgan) Quinn. Freymiller, age 95 of Lancaster and formerly of Fennimore, went peacefully to heaven on Thursday morning, May 22, 2014 at the Lancaster Care Center.  Ruth was born on August 30, 1918 in Marion Township, Grant Co., WI the daughter of August and Grace (Lampert) Stenner.  She married Raymond Freymiller on December 29, 1937. Montfort, WI-Joseph Charles Straka, age 86, died on Saturday April 26, 2014 at Crestridge Assisted Living in Dodgeville. Joseph was born on Jan. 27, 1928 in Montfort the son of Wencel and Margaret (Winters) Straka. He was united in marriage to Hazel Vesperman on Jan. 26, 1952 in Fennimore and together they had 11 children. Theodore J. “Ted” Griswold, age 93 of Livingston, Wisconsin passed away on April 23, 2014 at UW Hospital in Madison.  The son of Theodore E. and Delphia Griswold, he was born on August 4, 1920 in the township of Clifton. He married Dolores Beerkircher in 1941 and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s College of Agriculture in 1942. He was a renowned cattleman, livestock breeder and steward of the land.
