Anastasia “Ann” F. Pagel

LANCASTER - Anastasia “Ann” F. Pagel, age 88, passed away on Monday evening November 11, 2024, at the SSM Health Monroe Hospital in Monroe, WI. She was born on May 10, 1936, in Mount Hope Township, Grant County, WI the daughter of Francis and Agnes (Collins) O’Brien.

Ann graduated from Lancaster High School. She was united in marriage to Roger Pagel on October 22, 1956, in Pine City, MN. Together they raised their four children.  As the years passed, Ann became the office manager for Grant & Lafayette Electric for over 25 years until her retirement. She and Roger enjoyed dancing and loved spending their winters in Texas RVing. They also cherished their memories of camping with family at Coon Fork Lake in Augusta in Eau Claire County, WI.

Ann was an avid painter, enjoyed teaching yoga, gardening, and loved spending time with her family and her dogs.

Ann is survived by her three daughters: Jacqueline (David) White of Kailua, HI, Debra (Vernon) Vesperman of Lancaster, and Rochelle Pagel of Verona; five grandchildren: Brooke Pagel, Sierra Pagel, Lauren (Brian Fastner) Pink, Meredith Pink, and Clayton Vesperman.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger on January 2, 2023, and her son, James Pagel on December 2, 2012.
