Paul Griswold, age 65, of Lancaster formerly of Fennimore passed away on Sunday September 13, 2020 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. He was born on November 30, 1954 in Boscobel, WI the son of John and Laura (Bach) Griswold. Paul was united in marriage to Dianne Johnson.
Paul graduated from Fennimore High School and then attended the University of Wisconsin Madison where he took agriculture classes. Upon returning home, he worked on various beef and hog farms throughout the area. He drove truck for Coca-Cola, Kowalski–Kieler and later became an artificial inseminator for Tri-State Breeders in Westby. After four years, Paul unfortunately had to retire due to medical issues. Paul enjoyed showing cattle and attending cattle shows, and listening to music, especially the Beatles. He also liked learning about history and was a huge sports fan, always cheering on the Brewers, Packers and Badgers.
Paul is survived by his stepson Rob (Sarah) Miller of Janesville, his three children; John Griswold of Montfort, Jennifer (José) Mora of Oregon, and Katie (Mike) Griswold of Boscobel, 8 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, brother James (Kathy) Griswold of Sarona, and sister Jannan (Jim) Veloff of Madison.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and daughter-in-law Lisa Griswold.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday September 19, 2020 at the Larson Family Funeral Home with burial of the cremated remains to be held at a later date in the Rock Church Cemetery rural Livingston. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home Saturday morning. In lieu of plants and flowers memorials may be given in loving memory of Paul Griswold to Agrace Foundation at 5395 East Cheryl Parkway Madison, WI 53711. The family would greatly appreciate the wearing of masks while in attendance at the funeral home. The Larson Family Funeral Home is assisting the family.
