Marcia Darlene Strack

Marcia D. Strack, age 67, of Lancaster formerly of Fennimore passed away unexpectedly on Saturday afternoon December 7, 2019 at University Hospital in Madison. She was born on August 27, 1952 in Olin, Iowa, the daughter of Lewis and Mildred (Valentine) Tarbox. Marcia was united in marriage to Charles “Chuck” Strack and later married Bernard Cull.

Marcia graduated from Olin High School. After moving to Fennimore, she babysat for many families along with working at the Cottonwood Supper Club in Fennimore. Marcia was later employed at Rayovac in Fennimore for over 30 years until her retirement. Marcia loved to go gambling, go for walks in the woods, working in her garden, and had a passion for collecting angels. She also enjoyed baking cookies for the holidays and was sure to share them with family and friends. Her kind heart and devotion to her children and grandchildren will be cherished forever.

Marcia is survived by her two children; Roger (Jessie) Strack of Fennimore, and Lisa (Craig) Hale of Platteville, seven grandchildren; Shanda and Brett Strack, Brandon and Alex Lee, and Alexis, Aaron, and Autumn Hale, five siblings; Richard Tarbox of Rose Hill, KS, Danny (Karen) Tarbox of Olin, IA, Harold (Lorna) Tarbox of Olin, IA, Sam Tarbox of CA, and Marvin Tarbox of Fl.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, former husband Charles Strack, brother Bill Tarbox, two sisters; Carol Allgor and Connie Williams, and a sister-in-law Pam Tarbox.

At the request of Marcia, no formal Memorial service will be held at this time, but a visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-7:00 P.M. on Tuesday December 10, 2019 at the Calvary Community Church in Lancaster.
